For optimal telecommunications worldwide: Nobel Biocare decides on a single infrastructure for all its data services from T-Systems.
“The innovative solutions put forward by T-Systems won us over”, is how Christian Schulz, IT Director Global Service Delivery for the world market leader in restorative and aesthetic dental solutions, sums up their decision in favour of T-Systems. The ICT service provider now connects 40 international sites via an IP network based on MPLS technology (Multi Protocol Label Switching). This means that Nobel Biocare can flexibly decide which business-critical applications should take priority on the network. Bandwidths can be made available and used to optimal capacity according to requirements – this too guarantees a smooth information flow. A further benefit: T-Systems secures the entire network through the central administration of gateways, with protection against spam and viruses.
Support for international business
Nobel Biocare, an internationally company active, also benefits from the MPLS technology in one further respect, just as other companies including Emhart Glass, Alpiq, Bosch or Siemens already have: The corporate network can be extended to include further external offices at any time.
