Analysts confirm T-Systems as one of Europe’s best in terms of IT and telecommunications services
Frankfurt am Main, June 24, 2010
- Placed in the “Leaders” quadrant in European IT and telecommunications
- End-to-end service for cloud computing
Data Center Outsourcing and Utility Services, the current magic quadrant study by international analyst firm Gartner, places T-Systems among the leading European providers (link to study *). In addition, Gartner’s Pan-European Network Service Providers magic quadrant study positions the Telekom subsidiary as one of the top network service providers in Europe (link to study **). This makes T-Systems one of Europe’s leading companies for both IT and telecommunications services.
"We are the only company truly able to provide end-to-end ICT solutions from a single source," said Reinhard Clemens, Member of the Board of Management at Deutsche Telekom and CEO of T-Systems. "As such, we take on end-to-end responsibility for applications, lines and the user at the customer end in projects for our corporate customers. This end-to-end service gives us a decisive advantage, particularly in terms of cloud computing." T-Systems has also streamlined its portfolio over the last two years, increased its degree of standardization and industrialization and significantly expanded its global delivery capability. Clemens: "This is reflected in our stable and reliable services for which our corporate customers also commend us."
The Group’s own network now covers all important markets in Europe and safeguards the global connection of customers via its partners.
"We are in an excellent starting position," said Clemens. "We intend to build on this position by offering an identical level of service worldwide, covering a broad range of ICT services."
